My Nephews

Alexander and Christopher


This is a picture of my two nephews, Alex and Chris. Alex is 3 years old and will be 4 years old in February. Chris is 10 months old. They are cousins and are the love of my life. There is never a dull moment with the two of them because they are so energetic. This past summer I was Chris' nanny three days a week, it was the best job...if you can really call it a job at all!!! Chris can now crawl lightning fast and can be quite a handful for his mommy and my sister, Pauline and his daddy, Todd. They are remodelling a loft in Chicago and because of this, they have to block off certain parts of the house from him. He can also feed himself and is learning to speak his first words. Alex lives in Indianapolis with his mommy and my sister, Amy and his daddy, Micah. He can speak not only English fluently but a little bit of Spanish and Italian. Micah can speak a little bit in both those languages so he is teaching them to Alex. Alex can count to ten and speak some common phrases and words in Spanish. He is also learning some common words and phrases in Italian. One weekend when Alex and his parents were staying at my house for a visit, he started saying "Where are you momma?" in Italian, because my sister had gone outside to get something from the car. It was amazing and very cute to hear him saying that. (Unfortunately, I could not understand what he was saying at the time until my brother-in-law praised him for doing a good job and then translated for me.) I love my nephews, they are the cutest in the world!!! *sniff sniff*, and I miss them!!!
